TeacherTube Adventure

I was getting ready for my Literacy and Technology class, selecting sites, videos, and on one of the blogs I was sent to listen to this song. I found it absolutely adorable, interactive and educating. Enjoy it yourself and visit the TeacherTube site to sign up!

The video was cute. it is amazing how many thing you can do with this technology! The only problem I see with technology is that it can be time consuming. You have to be focused on a task or you can wonder around the web forever.

So cute!!! I share so much of the tools I am learning/seeing/reading/exploring with family and friends. Most of the people I share these stories with, want to take this course (of course not for a grade). Thank you Dr. S., for making the class exciting, and for including some adorable extras like this song.

Dr S. I thought this video was adorable. I loved how the child kept correcting the adult, as it probably made her feel smart and involved. There are so many different, beneficial, and fun sites out there, it is just about knowing how to navigate the computer to find where they are! I am learning a ton about technology in this course, and am feeling less overwhelmed every single day, thanks to you!

I sent this song to my friend Harry (he's 4 years old and loves to get email). His comment was, "That was sooo silly!". Then he started telling me about animals that he would have added and what we could say to move to another animal. How's that for engaging! I'm signing up for so many things that I'm going to need more memory for my computer :)
Another winner site.

I absolutely love it. It reminds me of the music I used to play with my kids when they were young - there were a few like this that were great for getting them to think - we often followed up with drawing storylines to go with the music or created our our plays with the music's ideas. It's nice to see tech nology used in such a creative way. I can't even beging to imagine how long it took to put together!

I like this video a lot. It keeps the kids stimulated with the pictures and color. I also like the use of music. I find music/singing to be a great way to teach kids so that they remember, some songs I learned helped me remember things longer than just reading. (Don't have a great singing voice but thats another story). I think this video is great for younger children to watch and learn about animals and see that adults can be silly too!

Really cute video. When I have more time (for instance when Literacy & Technology is finished), I will explore some of these other sites like Teacher Tube to find out which ones would be beneficial in a classroom. Also, some of them are cute just for some laughs.

This was such a cute video! It is very stimulating for students, including music, pictures, and text for the students to follow along with. I agree with Jennifer- the child correcting the adult as great and I think this video would appeal to younger students! It really gets their thought processes moving. This is definetly a website worth keeping!
