I cannot stop thinking --- this tool can be used for Word game, concept formation, sentence building out of the vocabulary of the current topic that is taught... Here is my second wordly for Literacy and Technology class. The task is to choose the words and phrases for the quotes we discussed in class and build sentences about "Learning to create."

This is a neat little tool. As you said, Dr. S, this could be used in any content area for vocabulary building. It is a fun way for students to take important words or quotes and turn them into a fun puzzle. If kids have fun while learning, learning increases!
Oh my gosh Dr. S! I am instantly addicted! I have made several for my new(yup I got a job in the public schools:), 7th grade science)class. I am planning on using it for an introduction on the first day of class. I think I will have the students do an interest survey of one words that describe them and we will create the WORDLE on site in the class. What a fabulous engaging tool.
Thanks.
I really love this idea. As bioblogger says this would be a great first day of school ice breaker. I could also envision this as a first day of a unit activity (where the students right all the things they think they know) and also again on the last day so they can compare the two - it will give instant feedback to their own learning!
Dr. S, I love this tool! I think it would be great way to be poetic. It is fun, quick and easy and I think students will love it. It can also be a great "About Me" project ; )
OOOOHHHHH now I get it. I didn't see the link to Wordle until I clicked on Jen R's blog. Soooo cool. I am going to test it out. What a fun thing to do with students but also with my kids. Neat!
